Dia

An Austin native, Dia knew from the 6me she was a little girl that she wanted to work in nature, with animals. She set out to work in Parks and Wildlife, and earned her degree in Wildlife Biology from Texas State in 2017. Ultimately, her career journey brought her into veterinary medicine, where she started as a kennel tech at a VCA hospital. Dia loves giving back to the community in her technician role. Nutrition is an area of interest for her, and she enjoys seeing how pet health can be improved through diet and exercise. Outside of work, Dia is a creative soul who likes painting and embroidery. She also like spending time with Jazz, her 6-year-old blue heeler.
