Dia

An Austin native, Dia knew all along that they wanted to work in nature and with animals. They pursued that dream by working in Parks and Wildlife, eventually earning their degree in Wildlife Biology from Texas State in 2017. Ultimately, their career journey brought them into veterinary medicine, where they started as a kennel tech at a VCA hospital. Dia loves giving back to the community in their technician role. Nutrition is an area of interest for them, and they enjoy seeing how pet health can be improved through diet and exercise.

Outside of work, Dia is a creative soul who likes painting and embroidery. They also enjoy spending time with Jazz, their 6-year-old blue heeler.
