puppy1.png For most pet owners, pets are considered part of the family. When you trust a veterinarian to care for your cherished pet, you should be able to count on superior care and education.

The right veterinarian can make all the difference in diagnosing, treating, and even saving a pet’s life. Animals are notoriously hard to give medical care to because they can’t verbalize their symptoms and are often uncooperative patients. An excellent veterinarian, then, must also be an excellent detective. This requires great dedication, patience, and unconditional love for animals. They must also communicate effectively with pet owners. Often, the pet's owner is the best clue to what is wrong with the animal, because they know the animal’s normal routine and personality, and they are the best link to understanding and uncovering symptoms.

People often debate about whether we save pets or pets save us, but there’s no doubt that an excellent veterinarian helps saves both.

What to Bring:
Once a year, you should take your pet in for a check-up, and twice a year for pets over 6 years of age.  This includes a full physical exam, and may include teeth and gum cleaning if needed.  The doctor will check the health of your pet from head to tail, giving you the peace of mind you would expect.

Bring in any medical history you have of your pet when you arrive.  It's best to keep a journal of your pet's health throughout his or her life, including behavioral shifts.  If you have something like this, share it with our team.  If not, let us know everything that you think will be important. The staff can still work with whatever information you have.
